David or Kaylie!
We decided on a full girl name. So now we have both "official" names picked out. If it is a girl it will be Kaylie Jane Rouse. If it is a boy, it will be David V. Rouse III (I won't explain what the V. stands for, lets just say it a personal family name). It is exciting! I can not wait to find out what we are having. I can't decide if I am wanting a boy or girl more now. I won't care as long as the baby is healthy. Yay for pregnancy! Such an exciting time.

Yuck...
Been feeeling icky lately. No m/s or anything, but feeling "blah". A few times I felt like I was going to throw up, but I don't throw up easily, so I didn't end up doing it. I always have this awful taste in my mouth like I haven't brushed my teeth in weeks. Even though I brush & floss them everyday! My belly has grown a little since week 6, I am glad I took pictures this early to compare. Been craving pickles, nachos/salsa and spaghetti o's. (Not all together). My sense of smell is heightened and the smell of alot of things makes me feel ill, but not pukey.

The bean in my belly!

We got to see the baby today! I couldn't really see the heart beat because I couldn't move too much or the image on the screen would jiggle around. Dave got to look really closely and he saw it plain as day. He said it was going a million miles an hour. Dr. said everything looks healthy and the chance of a miscarriage goes from 15% to 1% after the heart starts beating. So exciting!

A Widdle Belleh!

I check my damn stomach every day, and today it actually looked semi-pregnant. (Probably just bloating or something, but whatever *rolls eyes*). I have been having to pee alot more lately and been really thirsty. My cramps went away, but I get occasional twinges. I have yet to get morning sickness, but I'm sure it will come.

Crampage!
I haven't had many bad symptoms until today, well today I started getting cramps. It scared me, even though I heard that cramping is normal. I called the Dr and they told me the same thing, it's normal. They said to stay hydrated and rest during breaks, but I ended up feeling sick, (probably worried myself sick over the cramping) and my boss let me leave. My first semi-bad cramp symptoms... PS - Right now (4 weeks, 4 days) the baby is officially an embryo and is about 2.5 mm long.

Mood Swings! Ugh!
Well, I am having more symptoms in the past few days. I have had to pee alot lately, been really thirsty, kinda bloated and sore BB's (sorry, LOL!) Oh and I had my first mood swing, (yay! *rolls eyes*) I got all emotional and started crying over the dogs and how I thought I wouldn't love them anymore after the baby is born. Dave talked me through it though and it was over in like 20 minutes. My symptoms before I got my positive test were headaches every night for a week, sore BB's, really thisty, (I'd wake up at 4 am for a drink) and heartburn.

It begins...
My first appointment with the OBGYN. I went in, confirmed pregnancy and got a pelvic exam. They took my weight and blood pressure as well as my and Dave's medical history. I got some free samples of prenatal vitamins and met my new Dr. Next appointment is Feb 15th, hopefully we'll get an ultrasound then!!! It won't show much, but it's still exciting.
